I'm Cathy, and as long as I can remember, I wanted to be an artist. However, my own 40 plus year journey has been repeatedly interrupted by life and my own servant heart. Seasons of painting, attending workshops, sharing in art guilds alternated with work, with family, moving overseas. Life interrupts art.
In each setting, serving others is part of who I am. It took many years for me to understand that the best way I can serve you is as an artist. A painting can create a moment to stimulate, ease or encourage, a space to be stunned by the beauty and light around us. Art interrupts life.

Artistic realism.
Thirteen weeks in Israel spring of 2020 included plein air opportunities from Mt Hermon (north) to the Red Sea (south). During seven weeks in Covid lockdown I turned the tiny apartment's balcony into a studio, painting both the beautiful view and from photo references of pre-covid travel.
